MacDonnell House is a 1930s bungalow of generous proportions in a private location within a short walk of the town centre. This character house was completely refurbished in late 2008 and has a king-sized bedroom and three queen-sized bedrooms and is ideal for couples and singles. The stunning main bathroom has a two-person spa, double shower, double vanity and WC. One of the queen-sized bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom with shower, double vanity and WC. The third bathroom has a shower and WC. The spacious kitchen/dining room includes a dining table for eight, two settees and a plasma TV/DVD. A smaller separate living room also has a plasma TV/DVD. Guests can play music from their ipods in the bedside players. There is an enclosed back verandah, a separate fully equipped laundry and a sheltered front verandah.

* Cancellations:
Strict cancellation policies apply. Cancellations notified more than 28 days prior to the booking will incur a $30 (incl GST) cancellation fee. Cancellations notified 28 days or less and more than 14 days prior to arrival date will forfeit the full deposit paid or 50% of the total booking whichever is less. Cancellation 14 days or less prior to the arrival date will forfeit all monies paid. Any other changes to booking dates will incur a $30 amendment fee. No changes may be made less than 14 days prior to the arrival date.
The administration fee on refunds is AU$30.00

A key is provided at the house at an agreed time and the housekeeper calls on guests, usually at around 5.30pm on the first day of the stay. Week day and weekend housekeepers are on duty.

Local Attractions:
Naracoorte is home to the World Heritage listed Naracoorte Caves National Park, which features the Wonambi Fossil Centre, the Victoria Fossil Cave and many show caves. It's also surrounded by the Wrattonbully premium wine region and is within a 20-30 minute drive of Padthaway wine region and Coonawarra wine region. Naracoorte has all the amenities of a thriving town including a thriving retail centre, seven-day supermarkets, a swimming lake (reticulated water and fenced, lawned surrounds), the award-winning Sheep's Back wool industry museum; Naracoorte Community Playground; and Pioneer Park featuring a historic 1870s locomotive.
Getting There:
MacDonnell House is 1.5km West of Naracoorte town centre.amd is very close to the Visitor Information Centre and Sheep's Back. Turn into Camreon street and drive to the rear entrance of Macdonnell House.
