Description:
Pinkerton Hill, onthe eastern egde of Naracoorte, is a large and spacious country house surrounded by green lawns and large native trees. The Mount Gambier stone house has a king-sized bedroom, three queen-sized bedrooms and a single bedroom. The main bathroom has a deep bath and shower; and separate WC. Another bathroom has a two-person spa; and the third bathroom is an ensuite bathroom with shower and WC. A feature of the house is the very large open living area – a modern kitchen and adjoining family room, a living room and a formal dining room with a dining table for 10-12. Fully equipped laundry facilities are provided. The house has ducted air conditioning and two excellent slow combustion heaters in the living room and family room. Under the sheltered back verandah, you can have a barbecue with a view of the lawns and trees.

* Cancellations:
Strict cancellation policies apply. Cancellations notified more than 28 days prior to the booking will incur a $30 (incl GST) cancellation fee. Cancellations notified 28 days or less and more than 14 days prior to arrival date will forfeit the full deposit paid or 50% of the total booking whichever is less. Cancellation 14 days or less prior to the arrival date will forfeit all monies paid. Any other changes to booking dates will incur a $30 amendment fee. No changes may be made less than 14 days prior to the arrival date.
The administration fee on refunds is AU$30.00

No charge is made for children under two years of age. Cot, high chair and change table can be supplied free of charge if requested in advance. The children's tariffs is charged for children aged 2-17 years.
Reception Information:
A key is provided at the house at an agreed time and the housekeeper calls on guests, usually at around 5.30pm on the first day of the stay to check that everything is OK and to collect the tariff. Week day and weekend housekeepers are on duty.

Local Attractions:
Naracoorte is home to the World Heritage listed Naracoorte Caves National Park, which features the Wonambi Fossil Centre, the Victoria Fossil Cave and many show caves. It's also surrounded by the Wrattonbully premium wine region and is within a 20-30 minute drive of Padthaway wine region and Coonawarra wine region. Naracoorte has all the amenities of a thriving town including a thriving retail centre, seven-day supermarkets, a swimming lake (reticulated water and fenced, lawned surrounds), the award-winning Sheep's Back wool industry museum; Naracoorte Community Playground; and Pioneer Park featuring a historic 1870s locomotive.
Getting There:
Pinkerton Hill is 3 km East of Naracoorte town centre (on the Victorian side of town). Drive East on Smith Street (the main street) and turn right into Pinkerton Road (before the 80 km/hr sign). Pinkerton Hill is on the right, after Clover Crescent. If coming from Victoria on the Wimmera Highway, the Pinkerton Road turn-off is on the left, just after the 80km/h sign.
